On February 28th, 2024, MPPA, represented by President Ben Loo and DATO Dr. B.S. Bains, alongside representatives from the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA), held a crucial press conference. The agenda was to address the recently imposed Sales and Service Tax (SST) on physiotherapy services and to advocate for its exemption. This significant event, attended by prominent press companies, highlighted the industry's unified effort to ensure physiotherapy remains accessible and affordable for all Malaysians.
